RUSTON, La. (KNOE 8 News) - Ruston firefighters are looking into the cause of what sparked the blaze at a funeral home. It all happened at "Our Christian Funeral Home" on the 1200 Block of Jones Street. The department's spokesperson, Eric Brazzel sent us video and pictures of the fire.
Brazzel says it started at about ten o'clock Saturday morning.
Two bodies were inside being prepared for funeral services, but they were unharmed, according to the spokesperson. No workers were injured during the blaze, Brazzel said.
Neighbors were able to see flames sending thick smoke into the air, during the fire.
