MONROE, La. (KNOE 8 News) - Stars of the Discovery Channel show "Sons of Guns" stopped by the 2013 KNOE Boat and Outdoor Show.
Guns and ammunition have been selling quickly at this year's showcase, and vendors say it's because of the proposed gun laws.
Kris Ford and Stephanie Hayden-Ford of "Sons of Guns" say new gun laws may be a threat to our second amendment rights, but more importantly if the new rules are signed into law it could cost hundreds of thousands of Americans their jobs.
"In the economy today, there's already too many people out of work," says Hayden-Ford, "You know, we want to see something done, but we want to see the right thing done."
"One of the last great industries in America that's still American made. A lot of these guys they put their life in to it," says Kris Ford.
