Campti woman arrested in camp house burglary

NATCHITOCHES PARISH, La., (KNOE 8 News) - Natchitoches Parish Sheriff's Deputies have arrested a Campti woman on burglary charges in connection with a camp house burglary in north Natchitoches Parish.

On December 14th, 2012, Sheriff's deputies responded to a reported house burglary in the 200 block of Sunny Black Road near Creston, La.

Deputies determined that forced entry had been gained through a front door. Items reported taken were: Hunting supplies, clothing, dishes, and a trolling motor. Deputies also learned during the investigation that a vehicle parked on the exterior had been burglarized. A CD player was taken from the vehicle.

Subsequently, Charlene Michelle Harper, 29 of the 100 block of Bud Sullivan Road, Campti, La., was booked into the Natchitoches Parish Detention Center charged with Illegal Possession of Stolen Things.
