MONROE, LA. (KNOE 8 News) - Local grocery stores like Brookshire's and Super 1 Foods are gearing up for the 2013 "Souper Bowl of Caring" food drive.
The food drive is running through Feb. 3rd. If any shoppers want to make a donation, they can do so in specially-marked bins in each store. The collections from every store will be donated to a local food organization in their respective communities.
The Brookshire's on Sterlington Road in Monroe confirmed to KNOE 8 News that any food they collect will be given to Ray of Hope in Monroe.
