TENAS PARISH, La., (KNOE 8 News) - St. Joseph Water System experiencing problems because of a cracked water main at its treatment plant.
Because of this, the water being processed is temporarily of questionable microbiological quality.
Therefore, as a precaution, a boil advisory has been issued.
All water which is intended for use in food preparation, or in any way for human consumption, needs to be boiled for one full minute. This means one full minute AFTER the water has reached a full rolling boil.
