Domestic dispute ends with man severely burned

GRAMBLING, La. (KNOE 8 News) - A Grambling man has burns on 85-percent of his body after starting a fire to get even with his wife.

Grambling Police report 50-year-old Larry Brown confronted his wife, who was staying at a friend's house in Ruston on Wednesday afternoon. When he was not allowed in, he rammed his SUV into the home causing major damage.

Police say Brown then drove into his own home on MLK Drive in Grambling and set his wife's clothes on fire. When the fire got out of control, brown fled the scene and ended up at the medical center in Ruston with life-threatening injuries.

The fire took several hours to put out. Brown is facing multiple charges.
