Special Meeting: Annexation of Charleston Industrial Park

MONROE, La. (KONE 8 News) - The Monroe City Council has set a day to revisit the annexation of the Charleston Industrial Park.

At Tuesday night's council meeting they tabled a request to annex the park into the city limits.

Industrial park owner asked the city council to provide water service to the Southeastern Freight Lines Construction site before February first.

The reason some members voted to table it for now is that there isn't enough information.

The special meeting to revisit the issue is set for Tuesday, February 5th, at noon.
