One arrest, one suspect sought in attempted murder

MONROE, La. (KNOE 8 News) - Monroe Police Detectives have arrested 19-year-old Byrd Ennis Greely for Attempted Second Degree Murder in connection with the shooting at a local Monroe retail store back on January 9th.
A warrant has been issued for a second suspect, Larry D. Mitchell, also 19 years old, for Attempted Second Degree Murder. Mitchell is described as being approximately 5'9" tall and 160 pounds. Mitchell should be considered armed and dangerous.
Anyone having information about Mitchell's location is urged to call the Monroe Police Department or Crime Stoppers of Ouachita at 388-2274(CASH).
