CALDWELL PARISH, La., (KNOE 8 News) - The work is only scheduled for the first and second floors, and the third floor where some inmates are located will remain open.
The Sheriff's office has also indicated a portable heater will be made available for workers in the dispatch room on the bottom floor.
Also, from 9am until 5pm on Friday, construction crews are scheduled to close Evergreen Street...right off Highway 165.
Repairs are being made to the railroad. That's the only way in or out for that subdivision. The sheriffs office is setting up a parking lot for cars in case they're not able to drive home during the closure.
