Closings in Franklin, Madison, West Carroll and Winn Parish being reported

FRANKLIN PARISH, La., (KNOE 8 News) - Franklin Parish officials report Thursday morning that schools in the parish have been closed due to the heavy rains there.
The closures also include Franklin Academy in Winnsboro as well as the Family Community Christian School in Winnsoro which is closing at 1pm Thursday.
In addition, KNOE 8 News has learned that Madison Parish schools will close at 11am Thursday morning.
West Carroll officials say they're closing parish schools Noon Thursday.
Due to the weather, State Police report that operations at Camp Minden have been shut down for the duration of the day.
