WINNSBORO, La. (KNOE 8 News) - In Winnsboro, two police officers and a Franklin Parish Detention Center corrections officer are out of jobs. They are accused of illegally shooting a deer at night.

The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries reports they arrested and cited Winnsboro officer Chester Coleman Tuesday for taking a deer during illegal hours, using artificial light, hunting from a moving vehicle and other violations.

Agents also cited 31-year-old city police officer Joshua Martin and corrections officer Hunter Guimbellot for some of the same violations.

All three have been terminated from their positions and could face major fines and jail time.
