MONROE, La. (KNOE 8 News) - Monday afternoon Monroe Police were called to the scene of a stabbing at Parkview Apartments on Richwood Road.
Upon arrival officers conducted an investigation that revealed two adult females were involved in a dispute over the use of a vehicle. During the dispute, one of the females pulled a knife and cut the other female to the back of her neck.
The female with the knife fled the area and is still being sought. The injured female was treated at the scene by Monroe Fire Department and AMR personnel but refused transport to the hospital.
The injury sustained by the female was described by on scene personnel as very minor. The investigation is ongoing at this time as the suspect is sought.
