WEST MONROE, La. (KNOE 8 News) - The Ouachita Parish Police Jury is scheduled to vote on a resolution calling to bring in a new indoor shooting range and archery range.
The measure needs the approval of the police jury, since the property sits on the West Ouachita Industrial Park, and business owners need the go-ahead to sale retail merchandise relating to a shooting range and archery facility.
Operators of the proposed facility are hoping to move into an empty building on 281 Huey Lenard Loop. That facility was once used by Dualite.
If the police jury gives the resolution a thumbs up, then the operators can buy the building and sale items related to what a shooting range would offer.
