BOSSIER, La. (KNOE 8 News) - A Bossier teen with cancer needing a bone marrow transplant, has finally found a match.

14 year old Jamaya Johnson spent months hosting bone marrow drives all over the state, including here in Monroe. Thursday morning, Johnson's grandmother Mary Baker tells KNOE, one of her sisters was found as a marrow match.

The bone marrow agency does say they haven't cleared Johnson's sister as a match yet, so the search for a match isn't quite over.

Johnson is battling Hodgkin's lymphoma for the third time in two years. Follow her fight against cancer on her facebook page.
