DELHI, La. (KNOE 8 News) - Delhi town leaders are getting help from the state to improve their drinking water.
The town is being awarded nearly two million dollars through the state's drinking water revolving loan fund program. The purpose is help update the towns aging drinking water system.
Councilman Marvin Hamilton tells KNOE 8 News the money will be used to update old water lines, get new water meters and add upgrades to the water system office.
