MONROE, La. (KNOE 8 News) - A parking and transportation study is in the works for Monroe. City leaders say in two weeks they will begin seeking out companies to conduct a study.
The study will evaluate the need for more parking in downtown Monroe. It will also look into the city's transit services to see what needs to be improved.
One-hundred-thousand dollars in federal dollars have been set aside for the study. The study could be completed by the end of 2013.
