MONROE, La. (KNOE 8 News) - A Bossier Parish man has been arrested after deputies say he fired shots from his deer stand over the heads of 5 duck hunters in Union Parish.
Authorities say the hunters heard the bullets pass over their head as they stepped out onto a pipeline at the Bethel Hunting Club. Then, 30-year-old William Michael apparently got out of his deer stand and told the men if they ever walked onto the pipeline again he would shoot them and leave them lying there.
Michael turned himself in December 26th. He was charged with aggravated assault with a firearm.
