MONROE, la. (KNOE 8 News) - Across northeast Louisiana police report minimal New Year's Eve drunk driving arrests.
Monroe Police say four people were arrested for DUI, with three of those resulting in minor car accidents.
But, state police and several parish sheriffs across north east Louisiana say everything stayed quiet for the most part, with very few arrests. Ouachita Parish Sheriff Jay Russell says the most calls they received were related to firework noise complaints.
