MONROE, La. (KNOE 8 News) - A Monroe woman was arrested over the weekend for trying to use a fake prescription to get her hands on painkillers.

Louisiana State Police arrested 37-year-old Temple Gray on Sunday at a Walgreen's Pharmacy on Finks Hideaway Road.

Gray was allegedly conspiring with her ex-husband, Shane Gorman, to fill a prescription for Lortab.   Gray was allegedly trying to use a fake prescription from a local doctor that she worked for as a nurse.   A police report indicates she was recently fired from that position.

Charges against Gray and Gorman are pending.
