Camp Minden clean-up continues.

Posted: Updated:

CAMP MINDEN, La., (KNOE 8 News) - The work at Camp Minden to move that M6 propellant that caused the explosion there in October is continuing.

As of last night, work crews were down to the last one million pounds of the explosives, moving some 200,000 pounds yesterday.

Operations continue to begin at sunrise each morning, but there's still no published estimate on when the work to segregate and properly store all of the M6 will be finished.
