HARMONY GROVE, Ar., (KNOE 8 News) - The Ouachita Country Sheriff's Office reports that there has now been an arrest in the death of a Harmony Grove, Arkansas, woman.
67-year-old Clyde Sumler has been taken into custody on charges of capital murder and arson. He's currently being held at the Ouachita County Jail under a $500,000 bond.
Investigators charge that Sumler is responsible for the death of Brenda Thrower, whose body was found last week in her mobile home after it burned.
Thrower was an employee of the Arkansas Law Enforcement Training Academy in East Camden, Arkansas.
