West Monroe resident arrested in alleged payroll check scheme

MONROE, La., (KNOE 8 News) - A West Monroe woman has been arrested for using duplicate payroll checks to steal from her employer.
According to the Ouachita Parish sheriff's office, 44 year old Johnnie Hodge of West Monroe was booked into the Ouachita Correctional Center after being charged with felony theft. Her bond was set at $5000.
Hodges allegedly wrote duplicate payroll checks to steal more than $1,300.
