MONROE, LA. (KNOE 8 News) - Monroe Police Department detectives confirmed to KNOE 8 News that at 8:10 a.m. on Wednesday, a robbery happened in Monroe.
It happened in the 1500 block of McKeen. Police say a 74-year-old man was getting into his truck when two unknown black males pushed the man into his truck and took his wallet.
The two suspects fled the scene before police arrived.
The elderly man was not injured and the case is still under investigation.
