Natchitoches Sheriff's Deputy services held Thursday

NATCHITOCHES, La., (KNOE 8 News) - A memorial service for Sheriff's Deputy Ricky Issac Jr. was held Thursday at 3pm at The Natchitoches Events Center.
Officer Issac was killed this past weekend when during his duty shift, his patrol car apparently hydroplaned during a rainstorm just South of Natchitoches, went off the road and hit a tree.

NATCHITOCHES, La., (KNOE 8 News) - State Police are investigating the single-vehicle crash that took the life of a Natchitoches Deputy Sheriff over the weekend.
Ricky Issac Jr., was killed on La. Highway 1 just south of Natchitoches Saturday. Trooper say that it's believed that Isaac's police cruiser hydroplaned during a rainstorm, went off the road in a curve, and struck trees.
Issac, who was on duty at the time of the crash, was wearing his seat belt, but was pronounced dead at a local hospital from his injuries.
The crash occurred Saturday, December 8th, on La. Highway 1, south of Natchitoches.
Troopers say that Issac is survived by his wife, who is pregnant with their first child.
