PINEVILLE, La., (KNOE 8 News) - Louisiana College will remain "on warning" from the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools for a second straight year.
A school official said an accreditation team was on campus in October and reportedly found shortcomings in the following areas:
Institutional effectiveness: educational program Institutional effectiveness: administrative support services Institutional effectiveness: academic and student support services and general education competencies, and faculty competence.
Travis Wright, the vice president of academic affairs at LC, said the school has been working on strengthening its strategic planning processes since it first was placed on warning last year.
