Hello! I am morning Meteorologist Amanda Jellig you can catch me on Good Morning ArkLaMiss Monday to Friday from 5-7am.

I joined the weather team in December 2012. Before moving to Louisiana, I was living in Salisbury, MD working as the weekend Meteorologist at WMDT 47 News. I received my Bachelor of Science in Applied Meteorology from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, FL.

My passion for weather came at a young age. Ironically, I was frightened by storms but the fear turned into an interest.

When I am not in the studio you can find me out exploring. I always like to do something different, whether it be a new location to explore or a new food. I also love exercising, spinning being my favorite form of cardio or if it's a nice day I'll go out for a run with my dog.
