MONROE, La. (KNOE 8 New) - An investigation into a Monroe armed robbery has lead police to the Plantation Apartment complex on Colonial Drive.
Monday midday, police responded to a call at a residence on the corner of Deborah Drive and Bayside in Monroe.
The initial investigation has led police to an apartment off of Colonial Drive just north of Monroe. Monroe Police and the Ouachita Parish Sheriff's Office are working together during the investigation.
A search warrant was obtained for the Colonial Drive residence by Monroe Police Detectives. The search was conducted with the assistance of the Ouachita Parish Sheriff's Department. Currently, there are two subjects in police custody for questioning. The matter remains under investigation.
