Major jobs investment effort announced in Arkansas

EL DORADO, Ar. (KNOE 8 News) - A move to create new jobs in Arkansas is set to be announced this week in El Dorado.
Delta Regional Authority Co-Chairman Chris Masingill and Governor Beebe's Designee Steve Jones will be in El Dorado, along with Dr. Barbara Jones, President, South Arkansas Community College, to announce what's being characterized as "..a powerful new tool to help create jobs across the state.
The formal announcement about the project along with the and "Notice to Proceed" will be held Wednesday, December 12th to South Arkansas Community College at 11am. Following the announcement there will be a site visit at EDIE's Village.
