Cowboys player released on bail

MONROE, La. (KNOE 8 News/AP) - In Texas, a Dallas Cowboys football player is free on bail Sunday. Defensive Tackle Josh Brent walked out of a Texas jail earlier Sunday. Brent is accused in the death of practice-squad Linebacker Jerry Brown Junior. Brent coughed up $50,000 for his bond. He's facing an intoxication manslaughter charge. That's a second-degree felony. If convicted, he faces up to 20 years in prison and up to a $10,000 fine.
