MONROE, La. (KNOE 8 News) - The investigation continues after a one month old baby was found dead Sunday morning in Monroe, according to Monroe Police.
Officers said it all happened on the 1500 block of South Second Street around 8 o'clock in the morning.
A woman claiming to be the infant's mother wrote on KNOE's Facebook page on Monday. She wrote that her son was found dead in his crib in her bedroom.
Police say a detective was called to the scene and the body has been sent to Little Rock for an autopsy. There were not signs of trauma and no arrests have been made in this case.
