MONROE, La. (KNOE 8 News) - A West Monroe man has been killed in a collision with an 18-wheeler in Union Parish.
Louisiana State Troopers say 38-year-old Joshua Richardson was traveling north on Louisiana Highway 143, south of Highway 2, just before 3 P.M. Saturday, when his 2001 Honda Accord crossed the center line and traveled into the path of an 18-wheeler.
Richardson was taken to Glenwood Regional Medical Center, where he died. The driver of the 18-wheeler was not hurt.
Alcohol is not suspected to be a factor in the wreck. The crash is still under investigation.
