FARMERVILLE, LA. (KNOE 8 News) - The Farmerville Fire Department will be holding an annual boot drive on Friday, Dec. 7 to help underprivileged children receive presents for Christmas.
The department has taken applications from underprivileged families and will try to take 60 children to Wal-Mart on Dec. 16 and help them shop for the presents they want.
To do that, firefighters will try to fill their boots with donations from drivers at the red traffic lights by the Union Parish Courthouse and the Wal-Mart on Highway 20 from 3-6 p.m. on Friday.
