EL DORADO, Ar., (KNOE 8 News) - El Dorado Christmas parade set to go tonight, beginning at 7pm.
This year's theme is "Tales from the North Pole."
The procession will begin at the intersection of 18th Street and N. West Ave. The parade will then proceed along N. West Ave. to the downtown area and will end at Jefferson and Peach Streets.
For those unable to attend the parade or anyone who wants to experience it again, Immanuel Baptist Church has teamed with Suddenlink Communications to bring the El Dorado Christmas Parade online and on your TV. The parade will air on Immanuel Baptist's KCIB-LD TV 5.1, Suddenlink cable channel 14, at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 15 and 22. It will also air on Monday, December 24, at 9:00 a.m. and Tuesday, December 25, at 9:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. The parade will be aired live on KLBQ FM 98.7 Real American Country.
The El Dorado parade annually draws thousands of spectators. This year's parade is organized by the El Dorado Chamber of Commerce. Members of the El Dorado Junior Chamber are assisting with the parade.
