MONROE, La., (KNOE 8 News) - Ben Utecht will be performing with the Monroe Symphony Orchestra at the Civic Center here this coming Saturday, Dec., 8th.
The Super Bowl-winning football champ was forced into retirement due to an injury and is now pursuing his second love of music to much success. After singing the National Anthem for the Super Bowl Village and the Pacers game this past weekend, Ben will be kicking off his holiday tour performing with Jim Brickman on select dates.
This will be Ben's second time touring the country with Jim Brickman and he couldn't be more excited! Last year, Ben released his own debut Christmas album and since then has scored a cover feature on the front page of the sports section in USA Today and is the lead role in the independent short film, Three Weeks. He also has a new album in the works and recently performed with the Grand Rapids Symphony and the Monroe, LA Symphony Orchestra.
