Rachel's challenge comes to East Ouachita

OUACHITA PARISH, La., (KNOE 8 News) - The Ouachita Parish School Board has scheduled Rachel's Challenge presentations in six more schools beginning Wednesday, December 5, 2012.

In addition, two community events will highlight the program and introduce key concepts to parents and stakeholders. The public is invited to attend the evening events.

Here's the schedule for the programs:

Richwood Middle School will kick-off the program Wednesday, Dec. 5, with a presentation at 8:00 and Club Training at 1:00.

Richwood High School will implement the program Thursday, Dec. 6, with a presentation at 8:00 and Club Training at 1:00.

A Rachel's Challenge community event will be held for parents and stakeholders in the Richwood High School area at 6:30 pm., on Thursday, December 6, 2012, in the Richwood High School Gym.

Ouachita Junior High School will kick-off the program Monday, Dec. 10, with a presentation at 8:00 and Club Training at 1:00.

 Sterlington High School will implement the program Tuesday, Dec. 11, with a presentation at 8:00 and Club Training at 1:00.

 Sterlington Middle School will begin the program Wednesday, Dec. 12, with a presentation at 8:00 and Club Training at 1:00.

 Ouachita Parish High School will put the program in action Thursday, Dec. 13, with a presentation at 8:00 and Club Training at 1:00.

A Rachel's Challenge community event will be held for parents and stakeholders in the Sterlington High and Ouachita Parish High School areas at 6:30 pm., on Thursday, December 13, 2012, in the Ouachita Junior High School Auditorium.
