Bomb threat suspect heads to trial Monday

MONROE, La. (KNOE 8 News) - Former River Oaks teacher, David Reyna will be in court this week. Reyna is accused of making bomb threats at River Oaks, St. Frederick and Ouachita Christian School in late September. 

The arrest affidavit reveals Reyna confessed to making the call and then tossed the phone into a dumpster on Old Sterlington Road. He has since entered a plea of not guilty.

His trial is set for tomorrow at 9 in the morning on Monday, December 3rd at the Ouachita Parish Courthouse.

Reyna was released from Ouachita Correctional Center on a 200 thousand dollar bond on October 26th.
