MONORE, La. (KNOE 8 Sports) - The ULM Warhawks have officially accepted an invitation to play in the AdvoCare V100 Independence Bowl. It's the first bowl game in the school's history. The Warhawks' opponent as of Saturday evening is to be determined.
The Warhawks finished the season 8-4 and 6-2 in the Sun Belt conference. The team is thrilled to be playing in the game and doesn't care who it ends up playing. The Independence Bowl is scheduled for Friday, December 28th at 1pm in Shreveport.
