RUSTON, LA. (KNOE 8 News) - The Louisiana Tech Presidential Search Committee officially made their decision on their finalist for the university president position.
The committee selected Dr. Leslie Guice, La. Tech's Executive Vice President for Research and Development, as their finalist for the job.
At a meeting Thursday morning, the committee chose Guice over Duane Hrncir, the Acting President of the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology.
La. Tech public relations coordinators told KNOE 8 News that now the committee will make their recommendation of Guice to the University of Louisiana System Board of Supervisors next Tuesday, December 4th in Baton Rouge.
It will be up to the board to make the final decision on who La. Tech's next president will be.
