WEST MONROE, La. (KNOE 8 News) - Three West Monroe High School students are facing battery charges after a fight on a school bus. West Monroe police say a 17-year-old is charged with one count of simple battery. Two other juveniles are facing second degree battery charges. Police say it all happened on a Ouachita Parish school bus near the 200 block of Blanchard Street Tuesday morning. Officers say one student is recovering at home Wednesday night after being rushed to the hospital after the fight. No arrests have been made. Police are still investigating.
