Share a good book and visit your artistic side at ULM

MONROE, La. (KNOE 8 News & ULM) - You are encouraged to visit the Faculty, Alumni and Student Art Sale.   And, the College of Education and Human Development is hosting a Holiday Book Bash to collect books for the Louisiana Baptist Children's Home. 

ULM Art Sale starts today and concludes Nov. 30 

The community is encouraged to visit the Annual Faculty, Alumni and Student Art Sale, beginning today, Nov. 26, at Bry Art Gallery, located at the University of Louisiana at Monroe. 

The sale runs through Friday, Nov. 30. The sale hours are 8 a.m. - 6 p.m., daily. 

Art enthusiasts can find a variety of artwork for sale that includes ceramics, prints, drawings, painting, and sculpture by ULM art students, faculty and alumni. The artwork changes daily and is worth visiting more than once. This is a great place to find unique Christmas, wedding or birthday gifts in all price ranges. 

ULM collecting book donations during Holiday Book Bash Nov. 29; ULM First Lady to read

The University of Louisiana at Monroe College of Education and Human Development will host a Holiday Book Bash from 4-6 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 29, in an effort to collect books for the Louisiana Baptist Children's Home in Monroe. 

ULM First Lady Linda Bruno will read during the bash, and light holiday refreshments will be served. Participants are encouraged to bring children to the book bash in Strauss Hall, Room 202, and enjoy in the reading of some of the donated books.
