MONROE, La., (KNOE 8 News) - The Better Business Bureau is warning about another scam that's hitting in our area. Several people in North Louisiana have already received a "notification".
In this case, the consumer gets a letter from "A & J Market Research, Inc.", indicating that the recipient has been chosen to be part of a "consumer research project".
Along with a proposal for the recipient to join the "mystery shopper" program, a (supposed) check for almost $2,000 is attached as well as a supposed "Market Report Form".
According to the Monroe office of the Better Business Bureau, this is a scam, not a true offer or check.
