MONROE, La., (KNOE 8 News) - Women United for Successful Change have announced that the organization will host a candidates' forum from 6-8:00pm on Thursday, November 29, 2012, at Marble Recreation Center, 2950 Renwick Street, Monroe, Louisiana 71201.
The forum is free and open to the public.
Candidates in the City of Monroe City Councilman District 3 runoff, Juanita Woods and Betty Blakes have been invited to participate.
http://WomenUnitedforSuccessfulChange.org is a Louisiana non-profit organization founded in 1996. WUFSC is dedicated to assist and challenge women to excel beyond the economic disenfranchise they have encountered.
