MONROE, La. (KNOE 8 News) - Many universities are looking at their college football programs to boost its image and revenue. CBS' 60 Minutes is reporting there's no recession in big-time college football. The programs have become critical for not only money and look, but also to raise interest to potential students.
The University of Michigan, for instance, plays in a 112,000 seat stadium and recently coughed up more than $200 million on a renovation. School leaders say they must stay competitive and keep up with the times.
