MONROE, La. (KNOE 8 News) - The body of a missing oil platform worker in the Gulf of Mexico has been found, according to Texas Based company, Black Elk Energy.
One other worker is still missing after an oil platform caught fire Friday morning. The platform is located 25 miles southeast of Grand Isle.
The Coast Guard has ended their search, but the Texas company said they will continue looking for their missing employee.
Four people remain in the hospital after the explosion and fire.
The cause is still under investigation, but workers believe it was a result of a torch being used to cut an oil line.
