WEST MONROE, La. (KNOE 8 News) - A West Monroe woman is dead after a fatal wreck Saturday involving a motorcycle.
Louisiana State Police say 55-year-old Connie Henery was thrown off of the motorcycle after she lost control turning onto Louisiana State Highway 616 around 1:30 in the afternoon. According to investigators, Henery crossed the center lane. Police say a vehicle, driven by a 17-year-old, crashed head-on. Impairment is not suspected and Henery was wearing a helmet, according to police.
