MONROE, La., (KNOE 8 News) - Freddie Lee Cook was sentenced today on his May conviction on charges of aggravated incest. In 4th District court in Monroe, Judge Wendell Manning rule that Cook was a fourth felony offender exposing him to a mandatory sentence of life without parole, probation or suspension of sentence, given his prior felony convictions.
Judge Manning sentenced Cook immediately following a hearing on the Habitual Offender Bill.
Cook was sentenced to life without parole.
The case was prosecuted by Assistant District Attorneys Brandon Brown and Neal Johnson. James Ross represented Freddie Cook.
