ST. JOSEPH, La., (KNOE 8 News) - Due to problems with the water system, the town of St. Joseph's water system has issued a boil advisory.

This means all water intended for use in human consumption, cooking, etc., needs to be boiled for 1 minute.

The water should be boiled in a clean container, and should be allowed to boil for a full minute AFTER the water has reached a full rolling boil.

Residents are asked to continue doing this until the water supply system has issued a rescinsion on the boil notice.
