GRAMBLING, La. (KNOE 8 News) - Grambling Police Chief Tommy Clark says saggy pants are getting out of control in the city of Grambling.

While talking to the city's town council, Police Chief Tommy Clark made the comment, saying that image is very important to the small college town. He also pointed out that when younger citizens in Grambling go to court, the pants come up and belts get a bit tighter.

The Chief also said he wants local residents to tell him whether they want such an ordinance and if they don't, promises he'll drop the idea.

The council decided it would like to hear more public opinion before introducing a resolution.
