EL DORADO, Ar. (KNOE 8 News/AP) - The governor of Arkansas is not hoping for a Republican takeover of the state house and senate. Governor Mike Beebe is accusing conservative groups of misleading voters about the state's record on education, jobs,and taxes. Beebe and other Democrats are speaking to supporters on why the party deserves to stay in control. If the Republicans capture the legislature, it'll be the first time since Reconstruction after the Civil War.
