MONROE, La. (KNOE 8 News) - A Texas man behind bars in Ouachita Parish accused of murder is heading back west as early as Monday. Police said James Calvert killed his ex-wife and kidnapped his 4-year-old son. Our CBS station, KYTX, in Tyler, Texas said the suspect has signed a waiver of extradition. We're told he'll be back in Texas Monday. That's after, police caught up with Calvert in West Monroe Thursday morning. He's being held on a $2 million bond.
